Westinghouse L2410NMIf you are torn between buying an HDTV and a PC monitor, or simply want great HD options on on your monitor at a great price the Westinghouse L2410NM could be perfect for you. The L2410NM is a 24-inch hybrid set taking on both PC monitor roles and HDTV roles offering suitable connections for both uses. Offering a native HD resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels (supports PC input up to 1920 x 1200) for 720p and 1080i, 8ms response time, 500 cd/m2 brightness and 1000:1 contrast ratio. The L2410NM’s connections includes Component, HDMI, S-Video for HDTV use, and analog VGA, HDMI for PC use, interestingly enough there is no DVI input, but a single DVI-HDMI adapter can be used. PC Mag have taken a look at the L2410NM and say,

The Westinghouse L2410NM is an attractive monitor, with a glossy black bezel and a nice transparent glass lip along the bottom. By default, a small white light makes this bottom edge. The L2410NM is an exceptionally bright display and has an excellent contrast ratio. I measured 963:1 across a 9-point ANSI checkerboard pattern, with a poor 64 percent dark uniformity but a fantastic 90 percent bright uniformity.

The Westinghouse L2410NM is attractively styled and would not look amiss sitting in your living room. It’s also a pretty good deal for a 24-inch computer monitor or even an HDTV.
