In the ever closing gap between HDTVs and computer displays, come the ViewSonic Diamani DUO screens, which are as much a HDTV as they are a computer screen. ViewSonic have done more than simply add a HDMI input to a computer monitor. They have also added an internal ATSC / NTSC / QAM tuner for receiving channels, a whole bunch of media connections, and have also styled the screens in a very typical modern HDTV style.
The Diamani DUO screens / HDTVs are available in surprisingly enough, two sizes. The 19-inch ViewSonic NX1932w, and the 22-inch NX2232w. Both have a HDCP compliant HDMI input, component, VGA, component, S-video, composite, and both audio in and out. DVI is also available via the HDMI input.
The NX1932w has a 1,440 x 900 pixel resolution, 5ms response time, 300cd/m2 brightness, 800:1 contrast ratio and two 5 watt speakers. The ViewSonic NX2232w has a higher 1,680 x 1,050 pixel resolution and 1,000:1 contrast ratio, the rest of the specifications match the NX1932w.
