Sony KDL-40W4000
I expect the Sony KDL-W4000 to be one of the most popular, if not the most popular HDTV of 2008. The 40-inch Sony Bravia KDL-40W400 is a very impressive looking LCD HDTV from Sony’s new W4000 series. The Sony KDL40W4000 is the new direct replacement of the KDL40W3000, which I currently own and love, so I expect a lot from the new W4000 version. Read more
Sony V4500 Series | KDL37V4500, KDL32V4500, KDL26V4500
Sony are releasing a whole bunch of new HDTVs for 2008 to the U.S market as well as the European. The new Sony V4500 series is headed for the European market, and consists of three LCD HDTV sizes, 26-inch, 32-inch, and 37-inch.
Prices are yet unknown on the Sony Bravia V4500 models but we would believe them to be well priced in the sweet spot of the market. The previous V3000 models were very popular, and the new V4500 should have many great features and a lower price point than the new W4000 series. Read more

Sony has announced their new Bravia XMB series ranges for 2008 and in the new Sony Bravia XBR7 range looks like a sure winner. The Sony XBR7 series will only be avaliable in two sizes, as the well sized 40-inch KDL-40XBR7 or as the very large / huge 70-inch KDL-70XBR7. Read more

For 2008 Sony have released a whole new range of their very impressive XBR HDTVs, and at the very top of the range are the new Sony Bravia XBR8 series. The Sony Bravia XBR6 replaces the ever popular and successful XBR4 series, and will be available in a vast array of sizes. The Sony XBR6 models all feature the highest HD image format, Full HD 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixels), with Sony’s Motionflow 120Hz for smooth flowing images which retain their detail. Read more

Sony Bravia E4000 | KDL-26E4000, KDL-32E4000, KDL-40E4000
The Sony Bravia E4000 series is Sony’s latest range of LCD HDTVs, with a unique “Picture Frame” design. As you can tell from the promotional shots below, the Sony E4000 series have been designed to look like a picture frame and display artwork or photos. These are fully functional, top spec HDTVs but they also feature Sony’s Picture Frame Mode, which lets you display still image to enjoy, from a selection of six pre-installed image, or your own from a USB stick. Sony have just announced their latest HDTV addition in the form of the Sony Bravia W4000 series. The Sony W4000 range consist of four 1080p LCD HDTVs ranging from 32-inches all the way to 52-inches. Sony KDL40V3000
I have always been particularly impressed with the latest Sony HDTVs, so much so I own the Sony KDL40W3000 model. Released at the same time was the also very impressive 40-inch Sony KDL40V3000 LCD HDTV. I also feel that 40-inches is a very good size for a modern HDTV, it is certainly far from small, but neither is it a massive object in the room. Read more
