Sony X Series | Bravia X5050, X5000 Series

Sony X SeriesSony have announced their new Sony Bravia X series of full HD LCD HDTVs, although the Sony X Series really consists of three different series, the Sony X5050, the X5000 and the X7000, bringing a total of seven sets. All the sets in the Bravia X Series are full 1080p HD panels with 10bit processing, and 8ms response time. MotionFlow 120Hz technology is used to add frames to the original signal to remove motion judder and motion blur.
The X Series have a wide color gamut back light and x.v.Color for excellent colors. The 40, and 46-inch models have a 2,200:1 contrast ratio, the 52-inch a 2,000:1 and the 70-inch a 1,500:1 ratio. 24p input is supported via HDMI 1.3 with DeepColor along with HDMI-CEC bravia link, and three movie modes. Ethernet input is also available with built in web browser.

Inputs: HDMI×3 and D5 input ×2, component ×1, S image input ×1, composite input ×3, PC input ×1 (D-Sub 15 pin), PC audio input (stereo mini-) ×1, digital broadcast output ×1, optical digital ×1 and analog ×1, Ethernet×1.All sets are available September 20th 2007. The X5000 will be available in Silver, Black, White, Brown and Blue, while the slightly more expensive X5050 have a piano black finish.
