The new Sony Bravia M1 Series sure do look unique and lively. The Sony M1 Series are available in two sizes, as the 20-inch KDL20M1, and the 16-inch KDL16M1. Both have a 1366×768 pixel (720p) HD LCD screen with the larger one providing a 1,200:1 contrast ration, while the smaller 16-incher has a 1,800:1 ratio.
The first thing that you will notice about the Bravia M1′s is their style, they have been designed to appeal to youths and fans of modern designs. They are avaliable in six different colors; silver, black, pink, blue, green and orange. The bezel part of the HDTV also provides different color combinations to be possible.
Specifications on both the Sony KDL20M1 and KDL16M1 look very impressive, being powered by Sony’s new Bravia Engine 2 for image processing and enhancement, 24p support for true film frame rates, and 1080p compatible HDMI inputs. A high 178 degree viewing angle is also featured. Both seem to be good on power consumption at between 56 and 67 Watts, and are also light at 5Kg -7.4Kg enabling easy movement around the home.
Connectivity on the Sony M1 series are good with 2x HDMI inputs, component, composite, s-video and dedicated PC VGA input along with Ethernet input with VOD and DLNA connectivity. We are hoping the see these surface around the world soon.
