Sony 52-inch 1080p Bravia’s
Sony have added the KDL-52XBR2 and the KDL-52XBR3 to their Bravia line. These are both 52-inch monsters at the full 1080p resolution. They both include HDMI, component and VGA inputs, have a bulit-in ATSC tuner, and the classic “floating glass” panel look, and a 1,300:1 contrast ration. They due to ship in November. The XBR3 has a piano-black gloss finish, while the XBR2 has a silver bezel that can be changed for different colour bezels.
Sony have also added a two more LCDs to the mid range Bravias, the 32-inch KDL-32S2400 and the 40-inch KDL-40S2400. These two will be available next month, have all the standard inputs including HDMI and VGA, feature a bulit in ATSC tuner, but will not feature the full 1080p resolution
