So far at this year’s CES (Consumer Electronics Show) Sharp have announced two new LCD HDTV ranges. The range which as received most attention is the Sharp Aquos BD series, which features an internal slot feed blu-ray drive and player.
First up is the Sharp Aquos BD Series which feature a built in slot feed blu-ray drive. The drive can be used to play blu-ray movies, DVDs and CD content. The “All in one home theater solution” features a 10-bit Advanced Super View (ASV) Superlucent LCD panel, with ATSC and QAM tuners.
Available in five sizes, as the 32-inch Sharp LC-32BD60U, and the 37-inch Sharp LC-37BD60U with three HDMI 1.3 inputs, while the 42-inch Sharp LC-42BD80U, 46-inch Sharp LC-46BD80U and 52-inch Sharp LC-52BD80U have four HDMI 1.3 inputs and Fine Motion Enhanced technology for 120Hz high frame rates.
The new Sharp Aquos E Series is devided into two parts, the Sharp E77U series, and the Sharp E67U series. Featuring the same 10-bit Advanced Super View (ASV) Superlucent LCD panel and Motion Enhanced technology 120Hz frame rate. For more information view Sharp Aquos E Series
