The Sharp LC-32XL8E is one of Sharp’s latest models from it’s popular Aquos range. One thing that stands out immediately with the Sharp LC-32XL8E is that fact that this 32-inch LCD HDTV has a Full HD / 1080p screen, which we are more used to seeing on models 40-inches and upwards. This gives the Sharp Aquos LC-32XL8E 1920×1080 pixels to show off the supreme quality of HD.
Starting with the design of the Sharp LC32XL8E we see a slim, thin piano black bezel with the usual silver wave at the bottom of the frame, giving the LC-32XL8E a stylish and highend look. Apart from the 1080p LCD screen the LC-32XL8E also offers another new and highend feature; 100Hz processing “frame drive” which enhances viewing by adding in extra in-between frames to reduce motion blur significantly and also eliminate judder often seeing in panning scenes. These two elements set up the 32-inch Sharp well, and along with a 6ms response time, 24p support, 10bit Signal processing, and a high 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio offer impressive specifications.
Connectivity on the Sharp LC-32XL8E is good with three HDMI 1.3 inputs, 2x scart, PC VGA input, and component. TrustedReviews took a look at the LC-32XL8E and said, brightness levels are well-judged, so that images look bright but not so aggressive that the picture looks forced. Also, video noise during HD viewing is at a minimum. Overall the 32XL8E can produce some really excellent pictures, and it sounds good too.
