Sharp LC32AD5E Reviewed

Sharp LC32AD5EThe first thing that you notice when looking at the Sharp LC32AD5E is it’s price, at just £400, this seems remarkably cheap for a 32-inch LCD HDTV, and secondly, it doesn’t in the slightest look like a cheap / budget set. In fact the LC32AD5E looks right up there with sets that can cost you more than 2-3x as much.

Of course, apart from just looking good, the LC32AD5E should also be able to display a decent image and have some good features and connections….. which it does. The Sharp LC32AD5E has a 1366×768 pixel resolution for both 720p and 1080i HD formats, along with 500cd/m2 brightness and a contrast ratio of 1,200:1 for impressive colours.

Connection wise the LC32AD5E is also equally as impressive offering better connections than we are used to seeing on a HDTV this well priced, with 2x HDMI 1.2a inputs, component, 2x scart, and a PC VGA input for using the HDTV with a computer / media center. TrustedReviews say, the Sharp LC32AD5E shows standard definition pictures with surprising crispness considering that there’s precious little high-level image processing going on, and the HD images are even more impressive. The decent pictures are partnered by equally decent audio, too. Treble effects are presented with clarity and help create a good sense of realism.
