Samsung T220, T240, T260

Samsung T260HDIt’s time again for one of those products which is both a LCD monitor, perfect for business, and also perfect for use as a HDTV and HD media screen. The Samsung T260HD is a 26-inch LCD screen released along with it’s 24-inch brother the Samsung T240, which both have a 1920×1080 pixel resolution which is perfect for full HD media content such as Blu-ray.

The T260 / HD and the T240 are from Samsung’s Syncmaster range under the “crystal design” styling and are aimed mostly as computer screens but feature some excellent specifications and features for gaming and HD media watching. The Syncmaster T240 has a 1920×1200 pixel resolution as does the Samsung Syncmaster T260HD, but the T260HD also features an internal digital tuner making it technically as HDTV.

Both the Samsung T260HD and T240 are very energy efficient and the T240 uses just 0.3 watts during standby mode. They have a very high dynamic contrast ratio of 20,000:1 and a fast 5ms response time and great media inputs such as USB 2.0 and HDMI.

The Samsung T260HD enables HDTV broadcast viewing from it’s internal digital tuner and has a very health selection of six inputs terminals, and has great media sounds by the use of SRS TruSurround XT. Direct 1:1 pixel mapping of a 1920×1080 pixel HD source without scaling for the best image quality possible, getting the very best out of HD.

We also hear other smaller sizes, 22, 20 and 19 inch monitors will also be available.
