Samsung PN50A760Samsung has let loose a whole bunch of new LCD HDTVs, but they have not forgotten about the plasma fan out there. The newly announced Samsung Series 7 760 plasma range has just been official announced by Samsung, and will hit the stores very soon in August 08. As we often see with plasma HDTVs, they are offered in some great large sizes, from 50-inches to 63-inches, for some big screen, home cinema experiences.

The Samsung Series 7′s look great with their current “Touch of Color” stylish design wrapped around a full HD 1080p plasma panel featuring an ultra bright anti-glare filter to keep the picture clear and bright during well lit viewing. Along with DNIe Pro video processing for image enhancement and 18-bit Natural True Color and an extremely high contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 for amazing colors and black levels.

Available in three sizes, as the 50-inch Samsung PN50A760, 58-inch PN58A760 and the huge 63-inch PN63A760. All the Samsung 760′s also feature professional daytime / nighttime calibration options for perfecting the picture to the viewing environment. Also featured is “InfoLink” for live RSS news feeds and information direct to the sets, “WiseLink Pro” (USB 2.o) for video, mp3s and photos and DLNA compatibility via Ethernet. An optional Samsung Wireless LinkStick is available for $35, eliminating the need for an Ethernet cable.

Connectivity is also very good, including a healthy selection of 4x HDMI 1.3 inputs with CEC, 2x component, 2x composite, PC VGA input. Press Post
