Both series claim to be the “world’s fire 3D ready flat panel HDTV” to bring 3D movie viewing and gaming to the public. Both look great with a piano black frame and feature all high quality components and advanced features normally only seen in top price models. Images are automatically optimized along with audio to the best mode, for sports, gaming, or movies. FilterBright anti-glare technology provides deeper blacks and a higher contrast ratio with reducing annoying screen glare.
Samsung Series 4 Plasma | PN42A450 & PN50A450
The Series 4 plasma offers 3D technology previously only found in DLP HDTVs to deliver super picture quality with 3D features. The Series 4 uses advanced software algorithms to remove notice, false control lines and helps to reproduce clear images. Available in either a 42-inch Samsung PN50A450, or the 50-inch Samsung PN50A450, both have a 15,000:1 contrast ratio, 18-bit color processing and three HDMI 1.3 inputs.
Samsung Series 5 Plasma | PN50A550 and PN58A550
The higher Series 5 plasmas have a full HD (1080p) screen for the highest HD format. Making use of the same advanced technology found in the series 4, allowing users optimized picture and sound quality from a number of preset modes. Available as the 50-inch Samsung PN50A550 or the larger 58-inch Samsung PN58A550. Both have a high 15,000:1 contrast ratio, 1080p, 18-bit processing, resolution, Ultra FilterBright technology, three HDMI 1.3 inputs, and a USB 2.0 port for photos and music.
