I have long been a fan of the Sony W series (and currently own one), and the latest Sony W4500 series looks set to impress. The Sony Bravia W4500 series comes in at just one position below Sony’s new top of the line flagship X4500 series, and offers much of the same great features at a much more attractive price. The Sony X4500 series is Sony’s latest top of the range flagship Bravia model offering their latest advanced features and top specifications. This Sony Bravia X4500 series will be available in the usual sizes for Sony’s high end models, 40-inch, 46-inch and 55-inch. All feature Full HD / 1080p LCD screens and a great “floating design” with translucent frame and a choice of changeable speaker covers (Red or Black) to customize the look. Read more

The latest Bravia to be announced by Sony is the Sony Bravia S4000 series. This new Sony S4000 range improves on the previous S3000 series by adding many new features and reducing the overall footprint size of the units. Although Sony have yet to announce the pricing for this series, we expect it to be aimed at the budget end of the market (going by the previous S series). Read more

Before I kick off the review, I would like to point out to the readers that the Sony KDL-46W4100 is known as the KDL-46W4000 in the UK and European markets. I almost let this amazing HDTV slip past me, as the new Sony W4100 series are the U.S equivalent of the European W4000 model. The Sony Bravia W4100 series was announced at this years CES in January, and replaces the extremely popular W3000, of which I am the proud owner of. Read more

The new Sony Bravia Z / Z4100 series is a new flagship LCD HDTV from Sony, which is available in two large sizes. Both are full HD 1080p LCD HDTVs, the smaller is the 40-inch Sony KDL-40Z4100, and the larger is the 46-inch Sony KDL-46Z4100. Our attention was first grabbed by the Z4100’s in January at the CES (consumer electronics show) and it now seems that Sony are about to let these beasts out to the public next month (June 1, 2008). The Sony V4000’s look very impressive with a sleek and stylish design, and is packed with all the latest features. I expect the Sony KDL-W4000 to be one of the most popular, if not the most popular HDTV of 2008. The 40-inch Sony Bravia KDL-40W400 is a very impressive looking LCD HDTV from Sony’s new W4000 series. The Sony KDL40W4000 is the new direct replacement of the KDL40W3000, which I currently own and love, so I expect a lot from the new W4000 version. Read more

Sony are releasing a whole bunch of new HDTVs for 2008 to the U.S market as well as the European. The new Sony V4500 series is headed for the European market, and consists of three LCD HDTV sizes, 26-inch, 32-inch, and 37-inch.

Prices are yet unknown on the Sony Bravia V4500 models but we would believe them to be well priced in the sweet spot of the market. The previous V3000 models were very popular, and the new V4500 should have many great features and a lower price point than the new W4000 series. Read more

Sony has announced their new Bravia XMB series ranges for 2008 and in the new Sony Bravia XBR7 range looks like a sure winner. The Sony XBR7 series will only be avaliable in two sizes, as the well sized 40-inch KDL-40XBR7 or as the very large / huge 70-inch KDL-70XBR7. Read more
