Sharp LC-46XD1E Review
Sharp have pulled out the big guns with the Sharp LC-46XD1E from their Aquos line. The Aquos LC-46XD1E features the highest and latest HD format, 1080p which gives the large 46-inch LCD screen a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. This “full HD” format is only really any use on screens that are over 32-inches, and as the LC46XD1E is a whooping 46-inches this resolution should help achieve even higher more crisp images.
The Sharp Aquos LC-46XD1E has a 2000:1 contrast ratio, 450 cd/m2 brightness, a fast 4ms response time an internal digital tv tuner, 2x HDMI inputs, component (via VGA), 2x scart, 2x s-video and VGA PC input. Read more

Sharp have released a new flagship line of Aquos HDTVs with a whole bunch of great new features. There is the 46-inch LC-46HD1E and the 52-inch LC-52HD1E. They both feature and integrated PVR (personal video recorder) with a 160GB hard drive to store and mange hours of recordings, 100Hz technology which helps to produce clear images during fast motion and of course full 1080p HD resolution. The Sharp Aquos LC37XD1E 37-inch LCD features a full 1080p display resolution and integrated digital tuner, with a piano black finish and hidden speakers. Cnet UK have taken a look at the LC37XD1E and say sharp has made some odd decisions about inputs on the LC37XD1E. It gets top marks for including two HDMI inputs and there are also two Scart connectors, one of which is RGB-enabled, so you won’t struggle to hook up your older equipment.
