The Sharp LC32RD2E is a 32-inch LCD HDTV with 100Hz technology. 32-inches and 37-inch HDTVs are currently the most popular size on the market, so the LC32RD2E has to be great to compete in this highly competitive size market. The Sharp LC32RD2E has a 1366×768 resolution for 720p and 1080i HD formats, but not 1080p or “Full HD”, but do not let this disappoint you. The Sharp LC-52XD1E is Sharp’s 52-inch full HD 1080p offering from their LC-XD1E range. At a large 52-inches the LC-52XD1E is the biggest model available in the LC-XD1E range, and features the highest possible HD format (1080p) which will shown an increase in image quality over 1080i at this large size. As mentioned in our previous post about the Sharp LC-32D43U, the LC-32D43U competes highly against other 32-inch models, and is Samsung’s highest specification packed 32-inch model despite no featuring 1080p native resolution. Sharp LC-46XD1E Review
Sharp have pulled out the big guns with the Sharp LC-46XD1E from their Aquos line. The Aquos LC-46XD1E features the highest and latest HD format, 1080p which gives the large 46-inch LCD screen a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. This “full HD” format is only really any use on screens that are over 32-inches, and as the LC46XD1E is a whooping 46-inches this resolution should help achieve even higher more crisp images.
The Sharp Aquos LC-46XD1E has a 2000:1 contrast ratio, 450 cd/m2 brightness, a fast 4ms response time an internal digital tv tuner, 2x HDMI inputs, component (via VGA), 2x scart, 2x s-video and VGA PC input. Read more
Sharp LC37RD2E Review
Only a few weeks ago we recently wrote about the 37-inch Sharp LC37RD2E and were very impressed by the specifications which Sharp provided us with. Especially with it’s new 100Hz TruD mode which should cut down on the jagged sideways moving images we sometimes see, and also help to keep the image sharp and clear, with very little motion blur during fast moving scenes.
