Sharp XL2E, X20E Aquos Series
Sharp, not to be out done by their rivals have added have added two new Aquos ranges to their lineup, which they are showing off at this years IFA. The two new series of LCDs are all full HD 1080p sets offering eight different sets in total ranging from 23-inches to 52-inches. Read more
Sharp HD1E Series | LC-46HD1E, LC-52HD1E
Sharp has two new full hd (1080p) LCD HDTVs from their new HD1E series, the 46-inch Sharp LC-46HD1E, and the larger 52-inch Sharp LC-52HD1E. Both sets have a full 1920×1080 pixel resolution and a dynamic contrast ratio of 50% higher than their previous XL1E models, but the exact measurements have not been disclosed, but we expect it to be above 2500:1. Sharp D64U Series
Sharp has announced that it is bringing the highly anticipated Sharp Aquos D64U series range of 1080p LCDs to the US market. The Sharp D64U series consists of four LCD ranging from 42-inches to 65-inches, which have all been totally re-engineered internally and externally to be 25% slimmer and 20% light than previous product lines all while consuming even less power. Sharp LV-52TH1, LV-65TH1 - Aquos T Series
Sharp have announced their Aquos T Series of LCD HDTVs, which are the worlds first THX certified HDTVs. The Sharp Aquos T Series are available in 65-inch as the Sharp LV-65TH1 and 52-inch as the Sharp LV-52TH1.
The THX certification of the Sharp T Series, aka the THX Logo of approval, is meant to ensure the very best match of contrast and brightness with home theater level of video reproduction processing. Read more

The Sharp LC-52XD1E is Sharp’s 52-inch full HD 1080p offering from their LC-XD1E range. At a large 52-inches the LC-52XD1E is the biggest model available in the LC-XD1E range, and features the highest possible HD format (1080p) which will shown an increase in image quality over 1080i at this large size. The Sharp LC52XD1E has a 1920×1080p pixel resolution at a contrast ratio of 2,000:1 (10,000 dynamic) and a fast response time of 4ms. Read more
