Olevia 542i LCD
This Olevia 542i has some nice specs and a fantastic picture with TV, DVD players and movies.
When you buy a HDTV picture quality is what it is all about, and the Olevia 542i LCD HDTV has a great picture. The native resolution is 1366 x 768 with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The gray-to-gray response time is a great 8ms so no matter what you do from watching movies to PC gaming, ghosting is not an issue. The RF inputs will support SDTV, 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i. Picture in picture and split screen options are included as well.
I really enjoyed my time with the 542i. It was great for TV and movie watching, even if the gaming quality was mediocre compared to my reference Eizo CE240W 24″ display, it was acceptable and console gamers will love it. If you haven’t watched movies or TV in HD formats you don’t know what your missing. Read more
Sony KDL-40XBR2 Review
The Sony KDL-40XBR2 LCD is loaded with features, including 1080p-pixel resolution, and enjoys solid video quality, but that’s not really the point. Its main appeal is style: It brings back the company’s floating-glass look and ups the ante further by allowing you to replace the silver bezel around the screen with other colors.
The Sony KDL-40XBR2 is also a lot wider than a 40-inch LCD needs to be, owing to its side-mounted speakers and overall over-bezeling. Including the stand, the set measures 43.8 wide by 28.3 high by 12.8 deep and weighs 77 pounds. Of course you can also ditch the stand and, instead, wall-mount the panel; Sony’s official kit for that purpose is the SU-W51, although the right non-official kit may do the trick.

HP SLC3760N MediaSmart Review
The HP SLC3760N, the first to combine a network media player with a 37-inch flat-panel LCD TV, is a particularly polished example of the breed. This TV is not only a fully functional high-definition display, it can also stream and play back audio, video (including high-def), and photo content from any networked PC or storage device.
The HP SLC3760N looks like a standard LCD TV. The design is attractive, and its matte-black finish increases the perceived contrast ratio of the onscreen image more than silver or another color would. The speakers are located below the set instead of on the sides, which cuts down on its overall width.
