Sony’s Pearl VPL-VW50 1080p HD Projector, is the latest from Sony using 3rd-generation .61-inch microdisplay technology, the VPL-VW50 “full hd” uses a 200-watt lamp producing over 900 lumens of brightness and features two HDMI inputs as well as component inputs for the 1920×1080 resolution content. The Pearl can support 1080/60p, 1080/50p and 1080/24p via the HDMI so it can handle Blu-Ray or HD DVD players with no problems.
The Pearl VPL-VW50 can project an image of up to 300-inches with a max contrast ratio of 15,000:1.
