Philips have introduced six new LCD HDTVs using their brand new Philips Perfect Pixel HD Engine technology. This new technology works with “HD Natural Motion” to ensure judder free HD images. The Perfect Pixel HD Engine consists of many advanced elements such as a scaler , deinterlacer, dynamic contrast control, gamma correction and detail enhancement processing. This Perfect Pixel HD works on both standard TV resolution and also HD signals, where each pixel of the incoming picture is adjusted and enhanced to create a more natural picture while reducing artifacts and noise from all sources and resulting in a clean and razor sharp picture.
Currently there are six HDTVs that use Philips Perfect Pixel HD Engine, which we can only assume are the Philips PFL9632D Series and the PFL9672D Series. These six LCDs also feature 100 Hz Clear LCD technology for clearer images, a very fast 3ms response time, three HDMI 1.3 inputs, Amblight 2 channel, an internal DVB-T tuner, and four speakers. The sets also also said to support 1080p24 /24p for real 24fps frame rates.
