Philips 47PFL9664 Reviewed
I think most people would agree that the 47-inch Philips 47PFL9664 is one of the most attractive HDTVs on the market today. Not only does does it offer a slim bezel leaving more LCD and less frame, it is also very slim at just 5cm at it’s thickest point, and at 47-inches, this is very slim.
I personally love the aluminium finish, which is colored in two tones, it reminds me of a modern version of the Sony W3000 from a number of years back. Of course there are more important aspects to an HDTV than how good it looks turned off! Read more
Philips 40PFL9904 | Aurea 2009
Philips have just announced their third generation Aurea HDTV for 2009.
The Philips 40PFL9904 also known simply as the new Aurea keeps it’s same signature features, such as the transparent “active frame” with Ambilight Spectra, full glass front and distinctive design.
The latest third generation Aurea now features 250 LEDs in the Acrive frame, for a “exact” Ambilight color matching with what is being displayed on the screen. There is also a seamless transition between the screen and the 8mm Ambilight Active frame. Read more

Wireless HDMI / HDTV has been spoken about for over a year now. FlyWire showed promise at first, but has since had it’s development canceled.
Now Philips have announced their “Wireless HDTV Link” product which can set your HDTV free from it’s HDMI cables with it’s own HDMI transmitter / receiver pair. Read more

Just from looking at the Philips 42PFL9664 HDTV you can tell that it is one of Philips highend models. The 42-inch 42PFL9664 is in fact one of Philips flagship models, meaning it is one of the very best on the market today.
I very much like the design of the Philips 42PFL9664, it reminds me of the older Sony W3000 series, but with a more modern design and slimmer bezel of just 25mm. Read more
Philips 42PFL8404 Reviewed
Philips 42PFL8404 LCD HDTV, much like most of Philips’ recent HDTVs looks stunning. It’s definitely one of the best looking HDTVs so far this year, and features an extremely thin bezel of less than one inch thick.
Of course design and styling is not the most important aspect when buying an HDTV, it’s tends to be fairly high up there. Read more

Philips 32PFL6704D, 42PFL6704D, 47PFL6704D | 6000 Series
Philips have just announced two new HDTV lines for 2009, the 6000 series and and 7000 series, not to be confused with Samsung’s models with the same series names.
We will concentrate on the new Philips 6000 series here. The new series consists of three models from 32-inch to 47-inches, all with 1080p / Full HD LCD screens, and 120Hz ClearLCD / 2ms response time technology. Read more
