Western Digital have a new HD media player on the market, and it is by far the best one so far.

The Western Digital TV Live HD offers full 1080p HD video playback, with support for a vast array of codecs. It lets you enjoy all your HD videos, music and photos from your network, Internet and media drives on your HDTV with ease.
It has an HDMI 1.3 output, along with component and composite, 2x USB 2.0 for external storage devices, SPFIF audio out, Ethernet and is WiFi ready.
The WD TV Live HD also supports H.264, SimplayHD, Dolby Digital and DTS audio formats, DLNA support, Bonjour, and AVCHD. Online media is provided from YouTube,
It should be available very soon for $149.99, but it is currently available for pre-order from Amazon for just $119.99.
The WD TV live HD hasn’t been reviewed yet, but I hear users saying it is a lot faster than previous models.
