Monster Wireless Digital Express HD

Monster Wireless Digital Express HDMonster is making the whole wireless HD or wireless HDMI a lot more real with the newly announced Monster Wireless Digital Express HD wireless HDMI cable replacement kit. Monster, who are mostly known for the high quality but overprices cables have teamed up with Sigma Designs to produce this wireless HD device which uses a HDAV UVB system to wirelessly transmit audio and video in full 1080p HD.

The Monster Wireless Digital Express HD device can do 1080p wirelessly upto 30 feet away, or 330ft by using a coaxial cable. There are 2x HDMI, 2x component, and a composite port on the broadcast end, and an HDMI output on the other end of the wireless system, allowing you to switch between the different inputs. There is also audio out via optical or digital coax for use on a nearby audio system.

If you’re looking for a total wireless HD (more than just HDMI) the Monster Wireless Digital Express HD system could be perfect for you. I especially like how it also features a switch, allowing you to wirelessly send 1080p video from a number of different devices without having to reconnect. Expect to see the Monster wireless HD system around October this year for a MSRP of $299.
