JVC TH-L1

th-l1.jpgIf you own or plan on owning a HDTV, you will probably want great sound to finish off the experience. The JVC TH-L1 is HD ready by supporting HDMI and component switching. The JVC TH-L1 is a HTIB (home theater in a box) setup which makes it a lot easier for people who have just bought an HDTV and want to enjoy true 5.1 digital surround audio. The TH-L1 HTIB features two HDMI inputs and an HDMI output, and component switching along with an iPod interface. The TH-L1 feature five speakers, subwoofer, DTS and Dolby Digital decoding, along with many connections for just $299.

A front USB Host input allows playback of files from most flash digital audio players, and even from most USB storage devices. It offers playback compatibility with MP3, WMA, WAV (PCM), MPEG4 and JPEG files, so it can handle music, stills and video.
Rear panel connections include two component inputs, two composite inputs, two S-Video inputs and two digital (one optical, one coaxial) audio inputs. Additional rear panel connections of the JVC TH-L1 include a component video output. A third set of composite, S-Video and digital (optical) audio inputs reside on the front panel along with one composite video output and one S-Video output.
