Sharp are currently rolling out three new LCD HDTV announcements for models set for release shortly in Japan. We hope to these these around the world very soon after that. Sharp just announced the Aquos X Series, and take the title for the world thinnest LCD HDTV. This time around, the Sharp Aquos E Series brings four new models to the market.
The Sharp Aquos E Series offers a full HD 1080p LCD screen and “Smooth picture quality” with the help of some impressive 12-bit BDE processing control which can reproduce subtle changes in color values for a very smooth and natural looking picture. There is a also a very high 15,000:1 contrast ratio for excellent colors and deep color saturation.
The Sharp E Series is avaliable in four sizes, the 52-inch LC-52EX5, 46-inch LC-46EX5, 42-inch LC-42EX5 and as the 37-inch LC-37EX5. All have a compact design with a thin profile and bezel offering a small footprint for a large screen area. The LCD screen used have a low reflectivity level, which is idea for viewing in bright locations, and will not reflect ambient light from around the room. 120-Hz high frame rate is also supported for superior fast motion image processing and display.
All models will be out in Japan in March 2008.
