Dell ST2010

The Dell ST2010 might not be an HDTV, but it caught my attention, so I thought I would share it with my readers. The Dell ST2010 is a new 20-inch LCD monitor with a HD widescreen resolution of 1600 X 900 for a true 16:9 aspect ratio, and HDMI inputs.

The Dell ST2010 is currently available in Japan, and has been added to the official Dell site, so we expect it to launch very shortly. What makes the Dell ST2010 stand out to me is it’s very low price. With an estimated price of $120-130, it makes it the lowest priced 20-inch LCD monitor I have seen with an HDMI input.

The HDMI input (with HDCP) allows you to connect the monitor to a HD games console, or blu-ray player. The 20-inch ST2010 features a 5ms response time, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 nits brightness and a 160-degree viewing angle, along with a VGA input.

The Dell ST2010 uses a highly efficient backlight system to use less power, 25% less than most models. An optional soundbar is also available.  I’m sure the Dell ST2010 will be a very popular monitor, as it has a great design and connectivity, along with decent specifications and amazing price.
