The area where HDTV manufacturers are competing heavily this year is thickness, or thinness should it be. The JVC LT-32WX50 is extremely thin at just 7mm, and also very light at just 5kg.
As well as looking great being this thin, it also makes the HDTV easier to wall mount flush to the wall, and also at only 5kg makes it a lot easier to move.
The 1080p LCD panel in the JVC LT-32WX50 has a high 4,000:1 native contrast ratio, and 90% Adobe RGB color space, and 100Hz refresh rate.
Connectivity has been reduced slightly to be able to make the set just 7mm thick, consisting on 2x HDMI, VGA, SD card and USB inputs.
The JVC LT-32WX50 looks very impressive, but comes with a steep price tag of about £1,900, and will be available sometime this Autumn.
Update: The 32-inch LT-32WX50 has now been announced for the U.S market. It is expected to be available in November for just under $3,000.
