Toshiba BDX2000
Toshiba are better known as one of the major HD-DVD supporters in the past, before the HD format was was won by blu-ray.
They have now released their very first blu-ray player, the Toshiba BDX2000.
The BDX2000 blu-ray player supports BD-Live (Profile 2.0), along with 1080p / 24p output, and REGZA-LINK (HDMI-CEC).
It has a nice clean design with a front panel drop down door, and pretty much all of the features you would expect on a modern blu-ray player, such as an Ethernet port for interactive content and Bonus View, along with picture-in-picture support.
The Toshiba BDX2000 also supports Dolby True HD and DTS-HD Master Audio formats, along with AVCHD. It also features a SD card slot, enabling you to view photos and videos on your HDTV with ease.
Expect to see the Toshiba BDX2000 for about $250 this November.
