Sony V4500 Series | KDL37V4500, KDL32V4500, KDL26V4500
Sony are releasing a whole bunch of new HDTVs for 2008 to the U.S market as well as the European. The new Sony V4500 series is headed for the European market, and consists of three LCD HDTV sizes, 26-inch, 32-inch, and 37-inch.
Prices are yet unknown on the Sony Bravia V4500 models but we would believe them to be well priced in the sweet spot of the market. The previous V3000 models were very popular, and the new V4500 should have many great features and a lower price point than the new W4000 series. Read more

LG Scarlet LG60, LG6000
LG have announced their LG Scarlet LCD HDTV range recently at the Pacific Design Center in LA. LG are claiming the “Scarlet” HDTV to be the world’s slimmest LCD HDTV. It seems as if the Scarlet has a few different names, it is also known as the LG60 and as the LG6000 in Europe. I guess they felt they needed to add a few extra zeros for the European market. LG 32LG5000 Review
The new LG 32LG5000 looks to be a very attractive mid size HDTV. The 32LG5000 has a nice price point of around £525, and it’s design speaks for it’s self. The high gloss black finish with subtle sliver line at the base makes the set look very much at home with highend, high price point HDTVs. The LG 32LG5000 has a 32-inch LCD screen resolution of 1366×768 pixels which is more than enough for a HDTV of this size. Read more

One of the most exciting HDTVs announced this year by the major brands is the Samsung Series 6 650 range. The Samsung 6 / 650 series consists of six different sized models, and sitting right at the very top of the series is the largest 52-inch Samsung LN52A650. Read more

Sony have just announced a huge selection of eight new HHD (hard disc drive) DVD recorders for the European market. The great looking recorders make it very easy to record and time shift your favorite tv shows and play them back at your own pleasure. Great news for people in the UK as more details have been discovered about the new FreeSat and FreeSat HD service. Currently the only way to get HD in the UK is via Sky HD (Review), which comes with monthly subscription charges. With FreeSat you will be able to get over 80 channels, and HD channels for free, with no monthly subscription charges. Read more

Panasonic is doing a great job this year with it’s new range of LCD HDTVs, and the very well impressive and well priced Panasonic TX-32LZD85 stands out well.
