Just days after announcing the small but powerful Popbox, the A-200 shows up. The Popcorn Hour A-200 finds its place somewhere between the already available C-200 and newly announced Popbox. LG have been very busy this year releasing 39 new HDTVs. Along with these TVs comes the LG CF3D, the worlds first Full HD 3D projector using a single lens.

2010 has been a year for 3D HDTV, with many of them joining the market, including a number from LG (LG LE9500). But the LG CF3D stands out from the rest as being the only Full HD projector. Read more

LG have announced 39 new LCD HDTVs for 2010! While this number is very impressive it does make covering the whole range almost impossible.

At the top of their range are their new INFINIA range of LED LCD HDTVs which supported detailed local dimming of up to 240 segments to provide deeper blacks with uniform picture quality.  I will cover their whole range in two parts, this part covers their first half of their range, the Infinia and LE models.  The second post covers the LG LD650 – LD350 series. Samsung have today announced their 2010 blu-ray players to the world. This year they have four new players on offer for 2010 covering the market from the budget area to the highend 3D blu-ray supporting Samsung BD-C6900.

The Samsung BD-C6900 has won the 2010 CES Best of Innovations Award, and supports 3D blu-ray. Read more

Sony has already announced three new HDTV lines that they will release later this summer, so 3D is well and truly on it’s way.

But even more interesting is their new Sony OLED 3D HDTV. While it is still a lot smaller than most HDTVs at 24.5-inches, it is still a fairly large jump from the previous 15-inch models. Read more

The Sony Bravia XBR-HX900 series is 3D ready with a full HD LCD panel with dynamic LED lighting.

The highend Sony HX900 series are the latest range for 2010 and will be available in the summer. It will be available in two sizes as the 46-inch Sony XBR-46HX900 and the 52-inch Sony XBR-52HX900. Read more

Sony have just announced their latest blu-ray players for 2010. The three new Sony blu-ray players cover the whole market at three different price points.

The Sony BDP-S370 is the lower end model, the BDP-S570 the mid, and the Sony BDP-S770 their latest highend blu-ray player with 3D support. All three can be controlled from using your iPhone or iPod touch as a remote control. Read more
